AWARDED SILVER AT THE 2015 AMERICAN ADVERTISING FEDERATION AWARDS
Located in Maine, Thrive is a museum that takes fallen trees from National Parks and Forests and turns the reclaimed wood into art — generally sculptures and installations. The museum then holds an auction, and the amount of money that the piece is sold for is donated to the park or forest from whence the wood came from.
Everything is printed on recycled materials and designed simply, to allow for the pieces of art to stand out and not be overshadowed. Each interactive component is meant to lead people back to nature, to encourage exploring, as well as to inspire them to make something with their hands.
Thrive focuses on aligning art with nature, and protecting the greatest and purest form of art.
